Effective: May 23, 2026

Last updated: September 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how MAX Your Medicare LLC, doing business as MAX — Your Benefits Insurance Agency ("MAX," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit maxyourbenefits.com, contact us by phone, email, or text, complete a form on our website, or otherwise communicate with us in the course of receiving Medicare-related insurance guidance. Please read it carefully. By using our site or providing us with personal information, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

MAX Your Medicare LLC is a California-licensed insurance producer (California Department of Insurance License #6018686). The agency is licensed in California only. Individual agents of MAX are independently licensed in California, Arizona, Florida, and South Carolina. We are an independent agency; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.

Information we collect

We collect information that you give us directly and a limited amount of information that is collected automatically when you visit our site.

Information you provide includes your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or general location, date of birth or age range, Medicare eligibility status, current insurance coverage, prescription medications, preferred doctors or medical groups, and any other details you choose to share when you ask us for help comparing plans, request a consultation, RSVP to an event, or sign up to receive educational materials. If you become a client, we may also collect information required to complete an enrollment, including your Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI), Social Security number, banking or payment information for premium setup, and any documents you authorize us to retain.

Information collected automatically when you visit the site includes your IP address, browser type and version, device information, pages viewed, referring website, and general interaction data. We use standard analytics tools and cookies to help us understand how the site is used and to improve it. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work as intended without them.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to respond to your requests, schedule and conduct consultations, compare plans available to you, prepare and submit enrollment applications on your behalf when you direct us to, coordinate ongoing service such as annual plan reviews and claims help, send you educational materials and event invitations you have requested, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations including those imposed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services ("CMS") and state insurance departments, and operate and improve our website and services.

Permission to contact

When you submit a form on our site, leave a voicemail, send us an email or text message, or otherwise indicate that you want a licensed agent to follow up with you, you are giving us permission to contact you by phone, email, or text message about Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug, and related insurance plans. There is no obligation to enroll, and you can withdraw your permission at any time by replying STOP to text messages, unsubscribing from emails, or asking us in writing or by phone to stop contacting you. If you call us, applicable CMS marketing rules require us to record certain calls related to plan sales; we retain those recordings for the period required by federal regulation.

How we share your information

We share your information only when sharing is needed to do what you asked us to do, when we are required by law, or when a vendor we use to operate the business needs access to limited information to perform a service for us. Specifically, we may share information with insurance carriers and their plan sponsors when you authorize us to submit a quote request or enrollment application on your behalf; with our contracted Field Marketing Organization (FMO) and other upline entities to the extent required for licensing, appointment, and compliance oversight; with technology and service providers that help us operate the agency, such as our customer relationship management (CRM), call recording, e-signature, scheduling, email, and analytics vendors; with state insurance departments, CMS, or other regulators when required by law or as part of a compliance review; and with our professional advisors (attorneys, accountants, errors-and-omissions insurer) when needed to protect the agency or comply with legal process.

We do not sell your personal information for advertising, and we do not share your information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

Data Sharing

  • Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

  • Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

Medicare-specific information and HIPAA

When we help you compare or enroll in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Prescription Drug plans, we may collect and transmit limited health-related information (for example, the medications you take and the providers you see), so that carriers can quote and process your application accurately. We follow the privacy and security requirements that apply to that information, including, where applicable, the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the rules of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone other than the carrier, CMS, or another party that is part of your enrollment or service.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). Where those laws apply, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to request a copy of that information, the right to ask us to correct inaccurate information, the right to ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes other than those allowed by law and necessary to provide the insurance services you have asked us about.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in the "Contact us" section below. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on your request to protect your information from unauthorized access.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults shopping for Medicare and related insurance products. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently received information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide the services you have asked us about, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (including CMS recordkeeping rules for marketing calls and enrollment activity), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or securely destroy it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you have reason to believe your information is no longer secure, please contact us immediately using the information in the "Contact us" section.

Accessibility

We are committed to making our website usable by people of all abilities. If you have difficulty accessing any information on this site or completing an enrollment, please contact us using the information in the "Contact us" section and we will work with you to provide the information or service you need in an accessible format.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices, the law, or CMS guidance change. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged here on this page; if a change affects how we collect, use, or share your information in a way that requires your consent, we will obtain that consent before the change takes effect.
